All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued if purchased credits are not successfully delivered.
In the event the service becomes permanently unavailable, no refunds will be issued for previously purchased credits. The service has been in continuous operation for over six years, making this scenario highly unlikely.
If an account is terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service, any remaining credits will be forfeited and no refunds will be provided.
All report purchases are final and non-refundable unless a report fails to generate. In such cases, customers may choose either a refund or a report regeneration.
To qualify for reduced pricing, the full deposit amount listed in the pricing table must be paid in a single transaction.
Prices shown in the pricing table are valid only until your next deposit. If a lower deposit amount is made, or if pricing plans or promotions change, your pricing will be adjusted accordingly.
Credits expire one year from the purchase date. The expiration date may be extended by making an additional purchase before the credits expire.
We are not responsible for foreign currency conversion charges or exchange rate fluctuations. Please consult your credit card provider regarding any applicable foreign transaction fees. All charges are processed in USD.
Guarantee of Service & Limitations
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or 24/7 service availability. Temporary outages or technical issues may occur, including during scheduled API server updates, which typically take place every few months and may last several hours. Historically, the service has not experienced outages exceeding 24 hours. If the service becomes unavailable, please contact us and allow reasonable time for restoration.
There are no daily limits on report purchases. However, API users are subject to limits on free VIN record checks. The ratio of purchased reports to free checks must not exceed 1:15. Exceeding this ratio may be considered misuse of the free check service and will result in a 1-credit charge applied to your API balance.
Non-API users are not charged for free checks. However, accounts suspected of misuse may be automatically flagged by the system.
If you are accessing reports from outside North America, use of a VPN may be required to ensure proper report display and functionality.
All reports are sourced from official U.S. data providers and are guaranteed to be authentic. Canadian vehicles are supported; however, report formatting and data presentation will follow U.S. standards only.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of the “number of records” preview displayed prior to report purchase. Customers are encouraged to compare this information with other sources if accuracy is critical.
Window stickers provided by report vendors should be downloaded promptly, as they rely on security sessions that may expire within hours or a few days.
Purchased reports are stored long-term on our servers and remain accessible through the Transactions tab of your account.
Disputes
Payment disputes or suspected fraudulent activity will result in the permanent suspension of the associated email address, IP address, payment card, and payment account across Car Simulcast and all affiliated, reseller, and associated websites.
Payment disputes should not be used as a substitute for customer support. Please contact us directly before initiating a dispute, as most issues can be resolved promptly. Dispute resolution processes may take 30 days or longer.
If a payment dispute is initiated without first contacting our support team, a $20 administrative processing fee will be invoiced to the email address associated with the account. This fee will not apply if you contact us directly to resolve the issue prior to opening a dispute.

Chrome Extension
Car Simulcast chrome extension monitors user activity by scanning pages for Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) to generate reports.
By using this optional widget, you consent to such monitoring.
